Otázky k digitálním projektům
Kolik mě celý projekt bude stát?
We can make cheap websites. Quality ones start at 8,000 EUR and include the whole process that reflects your company goals. We will analyze your project, customers, and goals and design the best solutions to achieve success.
Information systems start at 25,000 EUR. The final price depends on the scope of the project. Most information systems like ERP, WMS, and CRM,… require continuous development from MVP to complete product and later maintenance based on SLA. The cost varies, but the long-term estimation is up to 500k EUR. We can estimate for you based on the project initial meeting.
What are Cookies, and do they relate to my project?
Text files that websites save on your computer or mobile device when you start using the website. Sites remember actions you have taken on them and preferences (e.g., login information, language, font size, and other display preferences) for a certain period. Then you don’t have to enter these data again, and you can jump from one page to another.
With the help of cookies, many of our sites remember:
- your display preferences, such as color contrast settings or font size
- whether you have already answered the displayed polls so that we do not continue to bother you with them
We also often include video files on our pages, about which we collect data with the help of cookies (from where you got to the page with the video, which videos you played, etc.).
Allowing this type of cookie is not necessary for the website to function. It makes browsing more accessible and more pleasant, thanks to them. These cookies can be deleted or blocked, but the site may not function as intended.
Information obtained through cookies is not used for your identification, and the structure of this information is entirely under our control. These cookies are not used for any purpose other than that described here.
If you use this option, you may have to adjust some preferences each time you visit the Site manually, and restrictions on some of the Website’s services and features may not be excluded.
The necessity of the cookie bar
Since 2022, you should have a cookies bar on your website. If you use any cookies, you should tell the user how you work with them, and you must not force the storage of cookies except those necessary for the project’s operation.
This provision applies to projects in the EU. Other countries may have completely different rules. For example, California uses the CCPA rules. Not sure which rules apply to you? Ask us.
What documents should I prepare for the project?
It will always depend on the type of project and the range of services you want us to provide. In theory, you don’t have to prepare anything, and we will go through everything from graphics, functions, and marketing to selling to your customers and optimizing processes within your company.
If you want to prepare, collect everything you have for the project (logo, design manual, photos, illustrations, statistics). Whatever you already have will make it easier for us to create a quality project specification and better prepare the project for its implementation.
It’s good to look at the competition and define what you like and don’t like.
What are the roles on the project?
It will always depend on the type of project; however, the essential roles are reflected in all digital projects.
He will meet you in the first moment, find out exactly what you need, and write everything down. This will create an order you will sign with the company’s management. The manager then breaks down the project into sub-parts, which he assigns to individual people in the team. In addition, he takes care of regular reporting of work progress and compliance with agreed deadlines.
Personally or cooperating with the UX designer, prepare the project breakdown and the solid wireframe. He will also design the data architecture with developers and analysts.
It will prepare a wireframe of your project, go page by page, and focus on how you should convert your clients. He will design the action elements and layout of the illustration graphics and prepare everything for the graphic designer so that the project is pleasing and fulfills its purpose.
From the wireframe prepared by the UX specialist, he will design the final graphics. It will be based on the client’s treasures, mainly on the graphic manual and supplied documents. The result will be a preview in PDF and final documents for the front end.
The project must look great. In addition, it must also work well. The back-end developer will provide all background functions, from payment processing to online payment gateways, through invoicing statements to predictions based on collected data.
In simplicity, it does all the work that cannot be seen but makes a project a project. Thanks to his work, you will always calculate everything accurately and know how you stand.
He prepares a functional version of the project from a beautiful graphic design of a website or information system. It cuts up graphic assets and builds websites piece by piece, like building LEGO. It takes features written on the backend and adds nice graphics to make the project a pleasant experience for the user.
It is one of the most critical roles on the project because his work is directly and constantly visible.
He will ensure the smooth running of your project and e-mails. He will ensure that the specific operational requirements for your project are met and prepared. He will ensure that your project can handle tens and hundreds of thousands of users.
It will suggest which platforms to use, get optimal keywords, and help set up campaigns for success. It sets up advertising to earn money and limits potential losses from competitors’ advertising.
“The pen is mightier than the sword.” An ageless classic and a “copper” has the task of making it accurate. He will go through the content of your project with you, look at your concepts, and, to put it mildly, learn them, or write them from scratch. All texts will aim to convert visitors to achieve the expected goal.
Social media manager
Your presentation does not end on the web, so do not forget, for example, social services such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others. We will help you maintain regular content and collect positive and truthful reviews.
What is the lifespan of my project?
The paradox of digital projects is that they are old before we write the first line of source code. Modern technology, search, browsers, and everything digital is always moving forward. So how about longevity?
It can last for ten years without problems. After all, we already have such projects, and they did not need maintenance for ten years and continue to serve their purpose and sell products. Generally, however, the lifespan of a digital project is calculated to be around 2 – 5 years.
A maintained project
If you take care of your project and regularly update the essential functions, system version, template, marketing, etc., the project’s lifetime can be limitless. The main advantage is that the project develops with its users and sells your services or products better.
What exactly does a maintained project mean from the client’s perspective? E.g., a flat fee where we spend time each month updating and collecting data to better convert your visitors into paying customers. We are happy to tell you more.
How is the project handed over?
When we prepare the project together, we will first place it on the test server, where you will have it available on the agreed link and under the password. Here you can view the project, and then we can look at any comments together.
If you have hosting provided by us, you don’t have to worry about anything. We will arrange and set everything up. If you host with another supplier, we will give you a list of the necessary technologies to prepare your hosting. If possible, we will prepare a beta version on a live server, which will always show the changes made before the final launch.
Once all essential functions are in place, we will put your project or its new component into the production server. Depending on how busy we are, we will either do it during the day or, for example, at night when there are no customers in the e-shops. For more complex projects with high traffic, we will ensure uninterrupted deployment so that you do not lose customers unnecessarily.
Who is responsible for the domain and hosting?
You have two options:
– take complete care of your domains and hosting by yourself; we will provide you with the list of necessary features
– we will take complete care of your project and domains
When we register your domain with our account, we are technical contact. You are still the domain owner, and we are responsible for alerting you about the domain expiration.
It’s similar to hosting. We take care of its up-to-dateness, security, and backup. If something isn’t working, we’re usually the first to know because we have an automatic outage reporting system set up, and while we’re happy for you to tell us, we’re usually working on it right away.
